Children's Carnival Parade 2027
On Saturday, January 30, 2027, Rijeka's Korzo belongs to its youngest masqueraders again: the Rijeka Tourist Board has set that date for the Rijeka Carnival's Children's Carnival Parade.
The Children's Carnival Parade is one of the centrepieces of the Rijeka Carnival, which runs from January 17 to February 10, 2027. On its official carnival page, the Rijeka Tourist Board has also announced the Rijeka Carnival Queen pageant for January 22 and the International Carnival Parade for February 7, 2027. We follow the whole season in our Rijeka Carnival 2027 guide.
For comparison, the 29th Children's Carnival Parade on January 31, 2026 set off at noon, with almost 6,700 masked children in 71 groups following a route from Riva along the Korzo to Grobnička riva. The first children's parade was held in 1997 with 28 groups.
The 2027 start time, route and participating groups have not been announced yet, so we do not treat the 2026 details as confirmed. We will update this page when the organiser publishes the programme.
