Terms of Service

1. What rijeka.party is

We publish an editorial calendar of parties, concerts, club nights and festivals, in Croatian and English. The site is free to read and free to be listed in. We are an independent guide: we are not an organizer, a promoter, a venue, or a ticket seller, and we are not affiliated with the events we list unless explicitly stated.

2. Accuracy of listings

We work hard to keep dates, times, venues and line-ups correct, and we verify against organizers and official sources where we can. Even so, events get moved, rescheduled, sold out or cancelled, sometimes at short notice and often without anyone telling us. Listings are provided for information only and without warranty.

Always confirm the details with the organizer, the venue or the official ticket seller before you travel or buy. We are not liable for losses arising from a listing that turned out to be incomplete, outdated or incorrect.

3. Submitting an event

Anyone can submit an event for free, through our form or by email. When you submit, you confirm that:

• the information you give is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
• you are entitled to promote the event and to share any text, artwork or photograph you send us; and
• you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, translate, shorten and edit that material on rijeka.party and on our associated social media accounts.

Listing is at our editorial discretion. We publish events that fit the guide — going out, music and club culture — and we may decline, edit or remove any submission. Single-day and weekend events go in the calendar; weekly residencies and season-long programmes go in the club directory.

4. Tickets and third-party links

We link to ticket sellers such as Entrio, and to venue and organizer pages. Those services are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. Any purchase is a contract between you and that seller — we are not a party to it, we take no commission on it, and we cannot help with refunds, exchanges or entry disputes.

5. Intellectual property

The design, layout, original editorial text and original graphics of rijeka.party belong to us. Event posters, artist photographs, logos and artwork belong to their respective owners and appear here for the purpose of covering and promoting those events. If you own material published here and want it credited differently or taken down, email [email protected] and we will deal with it promptly.

You are welcome to link to us and to quote short extracts with attribution. Republishing the calendar wholesale, or systematically scraping the site, is not permitted without our permission.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not use the site to submit false, misleading, offensive or unlawful content, to impersonate someone, to promote an event you have no connection to, or to attack, overload or interfere with the site's operation.

7. Attending events

Attending nightlife events is at your own risk, and subject to the venue's rules, capacity and age restrictions. Many events listed here are for adults only. We do not control admission and cannot guarantee entry to any event.

8. Availability

The site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with the date of the last change at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Croatian law, and the courts of Croatia have jurisdiction over any dispute. For anything related to these terms, write to [email protected].
