Advent on Rab
Rab's Most Beautiful Island Advent runs from November 27, 2026 to January 7, 2027, opening with a Željko Bebek concert as the festive lights are switched on.
The opening night on November 27 brings the festive lights switch-on across town, including the main Christmas tree, and a concert by Željko Bebek. According to the concert schedule announced by the Rab Tourist Board, December continues with Dino Dvornik Tribute Band (Dec 4), 4 Tenora (Saturday, Dec 12), Silente (Dec 18), local band Grupa Trend on Christmas Eve (Dec 24) and Indira Forza (Dec 27). On New Year's Eve, Venus plays the morning party on the square and Magazin gives a big evening concert.
Beyond the concerts there is an ice rink, children's shows, St Nicholas bringing gifts for children on Trg Municipium Arba, and the lighting of Advent candles every Sunday after Mass in Dorka Park, home to a large Advent nativity scene.
