How going out works in Rijeka

Nights out in Rijeka revolve around a handful of addresses. Klub Crkva and Nemo Klub are on the same street, Ružićeva, at the edge of the former Hartera paper mill by the Rječina river. Palach is on Kružna street in the very centre, and Pogon Kulture is in the Croatian Cultural Centre on Sušak, across the Rječina. Big parties and fairs happen at Exportdrvo on Delta. They are all a short walk apart, so it is easy to start the night in one place and finish it in another.

The scene is varied: electronic music and techno, punk, metal, disco and student parties. In summer part of the nightlife moves to the beaches and Opatija, and it comes back to town in autumn.

Clubs to know

• Klub Crkva, Ružićeva 22. A temple of electronic music by the Rječina and the Hartera complex: house, techno and minimal, guest DJs and a weekly student night on Thursdays. Big nights with well-known DJs cost around €25, student nights a few euros.
• Klub Palach, Kružna 8. Opened in 1968, one of the longest-running rock clubs in Europe and the heart of alternative Rijeka: gigs, themed parties, quizzes and listening sessions. Palach is often free; of the nine free events in Rijeka we have confirmed since September, four were at Palach.
• Pogon Kulture, Strossmayerova 1. The leading venue for rock, punk, metal and regional tours, and for big parties such as its all-night Halloween. Tickets are usually on Entrio, Eventim or Core Event and at the door.
• Nemo Klub, Ružićeva 2. Rijeka's “submarine”, on the site of the former club Život: electronic and indie nights on Fridays and Saturdays from 11pm to 5am, with happy hour until midnight and Nemo Pub's craft beers for warming up.
• The Beertija, Slavka Krautzeka 12. A craft beer bar with gigs by smaller rock and metal bands, sometimes capped at around a hundred people.
• Exportdrvo, Delta, Grobnička riva. A large hall for festivals, record fairs and the city's biggest parties.
• Klub Manual, Erazma Barčića 11a. A members-only club with electronic nights; entry is for members only, and nights usually cost €8. Membership is requested by email via manual.hr.

What a night out costs

Across the Rijeka events we have verified since September 1, 2026, half of those with a published price cost €13 or less, and most cost between €8 and €19. Club nights are usually €8–17, while big concerts and well-known DJs cost €20–40. Entrio and other sellers add a small handling fee, usually around €1–2. When to go out

Rijeka goes out on Fridays and Saturdays: of all the city events we have published since September, 87% fell on those two nights. Clubs fill up after midnight, and electronic nights run until 5am. Thursday is traditionally the student night. Concerts usually start between 8pm and 9pm, parties between 10pm and 11pm.

Getting home

At weekends Autotrolej runs two night bus lines, on Friday-to-Saturday and Saturday-to-Sunday nights. Line 103 runs from Jelačićev trg to Drenova every hour from midnight to 4am, and line 102 links Gornja Vežica and Srdoči via Fiumara. Check the times on autotrolej.hr before you go out. The centre is small, so most clubs are walkable; for Delta and outer neighbourhoods, book a taxi.

Can I get into Klub Manual without membership?

No. Manual is members-only, and membership has to be requested in advance.
